Taylor Swift swept the MTV Video Music Awards on Tuesday night, taking home nine awards. She became the first artist to win Video of the Year two years in a row.

Swift also won Song of the Year, Best Pop, Best Direction, Best Cinematography and Best Visual Effects all for her song “Anti-Hero.” She won Album of the Year for “Midnights”, as well as Artist of the Year and Show of the Summer.

The reunited members of NSYNC — Justin Timberlake, Lance Bass, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick — presented Swift with her first award of the night.

“You guys are pop personified so to receive this from your golden pop hands is really, it’s too much,” said Swift about the former boy band in her acceptance speech.

The 2023 VMA’s were held at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, and were opened with a performance from Lil Wayne, followed by Olivia Rodrigo. Later, Demi Lovato performed a medley of her old hits, which included “Cool for the Summer” and “Sorry Not Sorry.”

Rapper Nicki Minaj hosted the event and performed “Last Time I Saw You,” also going on to debut new music from her upcoming album, “Pink Friday.” Minaj later sang a medley with Wayne, LL Cool J and DMC to celebrate 50 years of hip-hop.

The night’s presenters also included Sabrina Carpenter, Emily Ratajkowski, French Montana and Ice Spice.
