Taylor Swift recently had one of the most memorable reunions over the weekend as she welcomed Taylor Lautner, Joey King and Presley Cash onstage during her Eras tour in Kansas City, Missouri.

While King and Cash were already with Swift onstage, Lautner flipped his way to them.

“Didn’t plan the flip,” he explained. “It just felt right.”

The surprise visits happened after Swift premiered her “I Can See You” music video, in which Lautner, King and Cash appear. In Swfit’s Instagram post about the music video, she wrote that she had her “heart set” on the three starring.

“Taylor, thank you for having me and all of us,” Lautner said on Friday. “And I just want to say that I respect you so much. Not for the singer you are — the performer — but truly for the human you are. You are gracious, humble, kind and I’m honored to know you.”

King and Cash both previously appeared in Swift’s “Mean” music video when they were 9 and 13, respectively. Although their mini-reunion was significant in its own way, Lautner’s arrival meant more to Swifties.

Lautner is known as the “favorite ex” largely due to Swift’s song “Back to December,” which allegedly is an apology song to him.

Swift previously explained that “Back to December” was about a “person who was incredible” and “perfect” to her during their relationship, but she was “careless” with him.

“This is a song full of words that I would say to him, that he deserves to hear,” she explained further.

In May, Lautner said he was praying for John Mayer as Swift prepared to re-release her album Speak Now. His wife, Taylor Dome, then posted a TikTok video of Lautner kneeling in a praying position with the caption, “#prayforjohn.”

However, as the re-release date approached, Swift took time during one of her shows to remind her fans to be kind to her exes. In what fans speculate to be a response to Swift’s reminder, Mayer posted a photo, an hour before her album went public, of his concert with “Please Be Kind” spelled out in the sky.

As Swift is re-recording her songs, fans are now awaiting the re-release of her album 1989.
