Tallulah Willis Opens Up About Adult Autism Diagnosis: ‘It’s Changed My Life’

Tallulah Willis, daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, revealed her recent autism diagnosis as an adult.

The actress, 30, posted an old video on Instagram of her and her father Bruce. The video, taken while Bruce was doing a red-carpet interview, shows Tallulah playing with his ear as he talks.

“Tell me you’re autistic without telling me you’re autistic,” Tallulah jokingly captioned the video.

One fan asked in the comments if she was diagnosed as a child. Tallulah responded with, “Actually this is the first time I’ve ever publicly shared my diagnosis. Found out this summer and it’s changed my life.”

In another comment, Tallulah said her behavior in the video was classified as “stimming,” which is a repetitive action often done by children and adults with autism.

Tallulah was also previously diagnosed with ADHD as a teenager and borderline personality disorder in 2022. The actress has been public about her health struggles, including her previous battle with an eating disorder.

Tallulah has also kept up to date on her father’s dementia diagnosis.

“He is the same, which I think in this regard I’ve learned is the best thing you can ask for,” Tallulah said on The Drew Barrymore Show recently. 

“On one hand it’s who we are as a family, but also, it’s really important for us to spread awareness about FTD. If we can take something that we’re struggling with as a family to help other people, to turn it around to make something beautiful about it, that’s really special for us.”

Tallulah also explained that she decided to become “an archeologist to my dad’s world” by archiving his “little trinkets and doodads.”
