In a new T.V. special, the publisher of the book If I Did It: Confessions of the Killer claims O.J Simpson allegedly confessed to the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman.
Simpson did an interview 12 years ago with editor Judith Regan depicting what he would have done if he committed the murders. She was reportedly fired from the HarperCollins over the book.
The interview never went public until now. In the special, Regan explains that when Simpson’s team reached out to her, she believed it was a “scam.” In a clip from TMZ, she said, “I received a phone call from an attorney who said that O.J was ready to confess.” She thought to herself “this guy’s a lunatic,” but gave him a chance anyway. “The next day I called him back and he said he was willing to do it, and the only condition that he had was that he didn’t want to called the book I Did It,” She claims, “He wanted to put an ‘if’ in front of it, so he could have deniability to his children.”
