Stormy Daniels Says She Was Afraid She’d Be ‘Murdered’ For Speaking Out About Donald Trump Affair
Stormy, the newly released documentary on former adult film star Stormy Daniels, sheds light on her life after an alleged sexual encounter with former president Donald Trump.
In October 2016, Daniels was approached by Trump’s lawyer Michael Cohen with $130,000 to stay quiet about an alleged affair with Trump in 2006. Trump’s team has denied the existence of any affair.
In 2018, Daniels filed a lawsuit against Trump and cited the numerous threats she faced from his team. In the documentary, Daniels talks about how she tried to keep her daughter away from the situation. Previously Daniels said she faced death threats from Trump supporters after the hush money incident.
Journalist Denver Nicks who had been working closely with Daniels for the documentary said Daniels was convinced her life was going to end.
“When I met Stormy, she was convinced that she was living in the last weeks of months of her life. It sounds insane, and it is, but she was also suing the president of the United States, I mean, in the middle of the kind of situation where s— like that happens.”
Daniels revealed that Trump supporters attacked her horse. She said the press would often come to her house while she attempted to keep her daughter and husband hidden. Daniels’ daughter would also be the target of threats, including a statement that her daughter be “euthanized.”
Daniels continues to face legal fees on top of continuous threats.
“The justice system failed me. It has absolutely failed me in every single way,” she said. “It didn’t protect me when I made reports about being threatened or somebody attacking my horse, and that’s been one of the hardest things about this.”
Trump tried to block Daniels from testifying in his upcoming hush money case in New York, but last week, the judge in the case ruled that she could testify.
