Stars Perform Songs from Upcoming ‘Hamilton’ Mixtape [VIDEO]

Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Hamilton Mixtape was released on Friday after stars performed songs from the mixtape in a concert on Thursday.

Alicia Keys, John Legend, Usher, Wiz Khalifa, Ingrid Michaelson,Common, Sia and Nas were among the stars who performed offshoot songs inspired by the hit production Hamilton. The Hamilton Mixtape album will be released on Friday at midnight local time. However, Thursday’s concert noted that physical copies are now available at the Broadway theater and its souvenir shop across the street.

The Roots’ Black Thought, Ja Rule, Ashanti, Regina Spektor, Andra Day and Joell Ortiz also performed in the concert, which took place in the Richard Rodgers Theater.

Lin-Manuel Miranda, who is currently preparing for the production’s U.K. debut and his starring turn in Disney’s Mary Poppins Returns, sent a video message all the way from London for the fans watching the show, which was also live-streamed on YouTube.

The tracklist for the concert included the following hits from Hamilton:
