Stan Lee‘s former business manager, Keya Morgan, is being charged with five counts of elder abuse.

Jackie Lacey, a district attorney of Los Angeles County, has hit Morgan with several charges including one felony count of false imprisonment of an elder adult, three felony counts of theft, embezzlement and forgery and fraud against an elder adult, along with the initial count of elder adult misdemeanor.

If found guilty, Morgan could facing up to a decade behind bars.

Morgan and Lee had a complex relationship. Last summer, the 95-year-old co-creator of many Marvel comics, filed a restraining order against Morgan for elder abuse. While the restraining order was being processed, Morgan was arrested by the LAPD on a suspicion of filing a false police report  about a break-in at Lee’s apartment. A three year restraining order was granted to Lee and his daughter Joan C. Lee, and Morgan was found guilty of the false police report.

A warrant for Morgan’s arrest has been issued, but he is not yet in custody.
