Stacey Dash Fired From Fox News, Twitter Reacts
Stacey Dash, former actress best known for her role in the 1995 film Clueless, became a contributor on Fox News in 2014. She quickly stirred up controversy, and was briefly suspended in 2015 for using profanity in a rant about former President Barack Obama.
She continued to stir controversy with her views, calling the fight for transgender bathroom rights “tyranny by the minority,” saying there shouldn’t be a Black History Month since there wasn’t a white history month, and using the Pulse nightclub tragedy as an opportunity to endorse Donald Trump.
The conservative news channel has kept Dash off the air since last September.
Dash’s exit from Fox News was met with celebration by some on the Internet. Comical gifs abounded:
