The final installment of Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises, has been filming in Pittsburgh, and now we have some spoiler-laden pictures and videos from the set. The leaked footage shows Christian Bale, who plays Batman, choreographing a street fight scene with a masked Tom Hardy, who plays his nemesis Bane, an escaped convict who reeks havoc on Gotham City.

In other pictures we see Oscar-winner Marion Cotillard (La Vie En Rose), who plays Bruce Wayne's employee Miranda Tate, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Inception), who plays a member of the Gotham police force John Blake. Another video shows three of Batman's Batmobile tumblers driving down a street in Pittsburgh.

Also appearing in the film, but not yet seen in Pittsburgh daylight, are Anne Hathaway, who plays Selina Kyle aka "Catwoman," and Gary Oldman, who plays Commissioner Gordon. Oldman appears in the teaser trailer that was released around the time Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 hit theaters. When Potter opened on July 15, it broke the box office record for the biggest weekend opening of a film that was previously held by The Dark Knight. With so much hype and interest surrounding The Dark Knight Rises, it looks like Batman is going to try to take the title back from the boy wizard. The film is scheduled for release in July 2012.
