As the clock ticks down to the season three premiere of the beloved Masterpiece program, Downton Abbey, the trailers and teasers are starting to emerge online, and people's whispers about possible nuptials between Matthew (Dan Stevens) and Mary (Michelle Dockery) just got louder, despite recent clips that have shown the two characters engaged in constant arguments.

"It's a truly stunning dress," Dockery told the U.K.'S Mirror, revealing that there will be a wedding to take place. "I'm sure people will make some comparisons with the royal wedding. As we arrived at the church and stepped out of the carriage the crowds were just amazing, with all these supporting artists cheering us on," Dockery added.

For the actors' parts, at least, they were tired of keeping the secret. "It was on the cards, wasn't it?" joked Stevens. "I think we'd have been hard pushed to stretch out the will-they-won't-they storyline much longer. But there's still some thrills and spills, it's not all plain sailing."

It's also been rumored that there will be one major character death this upcoming season. Though Dame Maggie Smith is said to be leaving Downton Abbey, there's no confirmation on if the character will be Smith's Countess of Grantham.

You can probably expect scores more teasers and spoilers, as the third season of Downton Abbey doesn't come out in the U.S. until 2013, but will be released in Britain in September.
