Sian Blake, the British soap actress best known for starring on EastEnders, was found dead earlier this week with her two sons – Zachary, 8, and Amon, 4.

Sian Blake Found Dead

Three bodies, including Blake’s and that of her two sons, were found on Jan. 5 in the back garden of her home in Erith, Kent. Postmortem examinations have revealed that Blake and her children died as a result of serious head and neck injuries, reported People magazine.

Scotland Yard’s Homicide and Major Crime Command is currently in search of Blake’s boyfriend, freelance hair stylist Arthur Simpson-Kent. He was last seen on Dec. 16, and was last photographed Dec. 19 upon arriving at Ghana’s Kotoka International Airport.

“We are continuing to appeal for any information about the movements of Arthur Simpson-Kent who was last seen by police officers at his home in Erith on 16 December,” said Detective Superintendent Paul Monk.

“This is a fast moving investigation and we are actively pursuing a number of lines of enquiry. If anyone has any information that they think might help our investigation then I would urge them to get in contact with us.”

Blake and her two children were first reported missing in mid-December, having last been seen alive in Leyton, East London at a family gathering.

After her run on EastEnders as soul singer Frankie, Blake went on to appear in a number of other TV series, including The Bill, Casualty, The Last Detective and Skins. In more recent years, she has worked in theater and as a sign language tutor.
