Shania Twain Engaged To Nestle Chocolate Heir

There will definitely be a chocolate fountain at this wedding! Country star Shania Twain is engaged to Nestle chocolate heir Frederic Thiebaud, her rep confirmed.

"I've never seen Shania so happy," a source told Us Weekly. "She has ended up with the love of her life."

Twain and Thiebaud's romance began under complicated circumstances. Twain was married to music producer Robert "Mutt" Lange for 14 years, until Lange suddenly left the singer for her best friend, Marie-Ann Thiebaud in 2008. (Lange and Marie-Ann Thiebaud denied the affair). Twain and Frederic Thiebaud, Marie-Ann's husband, struck up a friendship while coping with the betrayal, and ultimately fell in love.

In 2009, Twain revealed her relationship with Thiebaud on her Web site, describing him as "a dear friend and true gentleman … We leaned on one another through the ups and downs, taking turns holding each other up. We've become stronger and closer through it all."

Twain, 45, and Thiebaud, 40, were spotted together in New York City last week. —ISHITA SINGH
