‘Sex/Life’ Stars Sarah Shahi & Adam Demos Spark Engagement Rumors During Trip To Italy

Sarah Shahi and Adam Demos, co-stars of the Netflix show Sex/Life, sparked engagement rumors after the couple were spotted on a romantic holiday together in Italy over the weekend.

The on-screen and real-life couple were seen taking a walk near Lake Como, with Shahi donning a shiny new ring on her wedding finger next to the “A”-shaped tattoo she got when she and Demos first started dating.

The couple was also spotted holding hands while walking the streets of Cernobbio, Italy, which is roughly 40 kilometers from Milan.

Demos was born in Australia and began his acting career after expressing interest at an early age. He appeared in BAC Australia’s Janet King and Lifetime’s UnREAL before gaining wider fame in Falling Inn Love, where he starred opposite Christina Milian. He is the cousin of Australian basketball player Tyson Demos.

Sarah Shahi, born Aahoo Jahansouzshahi, is an American actress known for her work on The L Word in 2005 and for starring as Kate Reed in the USA television drama Fairly Legal, which ran from 2011 to 2012. She also received praise among film critics for her role as Zahra Bankston, the White House Deputy Chief of Staff in the LGBTQ comedy film Red, White and Royal Blue.

Demos and Shahi, who portray Brad Simon and Billie Connelly on Sex/Life, respectively, confirmed their relationship as an off-screen couple in 2021. Their relationship began shortly after Shahi finalized her divorce from actor Steve Howey, with whom Shahi has three children, in May 2020. Their divorce was finalized in January of the following year.

Demos made headlines last year when he confirmed that he used a large prosthetic in the buff scenes on Sex/Life.

Demos is currently starring as Will Ready on the Fox television show Rescue: HI-Surf, which premiered on September 23.
