Serena Williams’s husband and co-founder of Reddit, Alexis Ohanian, surprised her four billboards dedicated to her return to tennis.
After being on maternity leave since giving birth back in September, Williams is already returning to the tennis world for the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, California. However, she was surprised on her way to the courts with four billboards that featured pictures of their newborn daughter, Alexis Jr.
The signs combined said, ““Greatest momma of all time. G.M.O.A.T.” Each sharing a different picture of Alexis Jr., and the final billboard included a picture of Williams embracing her daughter. Ohanian shared photos of the billboards on his Twitter. He takes credit for the billboard design, but also gives credit to his daughter as well.
It has been five months since Williams gave birth and over a year since her last competitive match. The last time she played was in January 2017 at the Australian Open, where she won while eight weeks pregnant.

However, for the past year she has been focusing on starting a new chapter with her family. While off the court, Williams and Ohanian got married on November 16, 2017 in New Orleans. After that the couple moved to San Francisco with their newborn daughter.
Now that she has had time off, she’s ready to get back on the court. Ohanian and their daughter will be on the sidelines cheering on Williams in her first comeback competition in Palm Springs this upcoming week.
