Serena Williams, the tennis champion, wed Alexis Ohanian, the Reddit founder, on Thursday. During their star-filled ceremony, the bride wore a strapless ballgown by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen.

The Executive Director from Brides, Lisa Gooder, told E! News that Williams wore a sheer, sparkly cape with the gown. She also said the bride wore a classic veil down the aisle and kept her makeup “dewy.” As for her hair, Gooder said that Williams kept it at a “simple” and “classic” style.

Williams didn’t wear just one dress on the most memorable day of her life – she wore three. Williams changed into a party dress by Versace for the reception. The dress had feathers and beading. Afterwards, she changed into a third Versace dress later on in the evening.

As for accessories, Williams wore $3.5 million of jewelry for her wedding.

Williams was said to be very hands on with the wedding choosing everyone’s dresses for the night and even worked with the designers. Williams’ bridesmaids all wore convertible dresses by Galia Lahav in different shades of cream, white and off-white.
