On December 7, a fan account shared a black-and-white photo of Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco cozied up together, which prompted Gomez to comment and interact with other users.

In one comment, she described Blanco as “my absolute everything in my heart.” She responded to another fan that Blanco was the best thing that had ever happened to her.

Gomez also defended their relationship against negative comments and stated that she would not let others’ words dictate her life.

This isn’t the first time Gomez has hinted at her romantic involvement with Blanco.

On December 3, she replied with a simple “Facts” to an Instagram post from a fan account that suggested the relationship. Gomez also shared a selfie of the two on her Instagram Story.

Gomez and Blanco have collaborated on her recent hit, “Single Soon.”

Additionally, Blanco was in attendance at Gomez’s 31st birthday party in July.

However, in September, Gomez uploaded a TikTok video where she mouthed the words, “Guess who has a boyfriend? Not me, bitch. Stay safe out there.” This led fans to speculate about her relationship status at the time.

In a recent interview with SiriusXM Hits 1 LA, Gomez discussed her current state of mind and her future music.

“I think everybody goes through the phase of, ‘Oh, it’d be nice to like have someone,’ and I get that,” she said. “But you know, I’m just enjoying where I’m at, and I just want to be happy with who I am so that whenever that person comes into my life, I can just have them add on to me instead of being this insecure, you know, person that I normally used to be.”

Gomez’s latest single, “Single Soon,” explores the anticipation of the end of a relationship. The music video references a viral TikTok video she posted in June, where she declared herself single to soccer players on a field.

In the interview, Gomez admitted that her flirty attempt did not yield the desired response. The music video also shows Gomez on a night out with her single friends, as she reflects on her real-life experiences with her girlfriends.
