Season 9 Of ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ Has Finished Filming
Curb Your Enthusiasm’s revival was a pleasant surprise last summer. Moreover, recent tweets from Richard Lewis confirmed the show’s ninth season has finished filming.
CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM‘S NINTH SEASON
Naturally, Larry David is depicted alongside Lewis in both photographs. However, the first picture also features his wife, Joyce Lapinsky, and Curb director David Steinberg. Likewise, fellow Curb alumni J. B. Smoove was centered in the second picture.
On the comedy program, Lewis portrays a fictionalized version of himself, just as David does. Lewis is a recurring character who displays an antagonistic friendship with David.
Smoove’s character, Leon Black, was introduced in the sixth season. The Black family’s home was ravaged by Hurricane Edna, which spurred the Davids to take them in. However, while his family left in the following season, Leon comically stayed behind with Larry. Notably, Smoove also had a role in David’s HBO film, Clear History.
Additional cast members confirmed to reprise their characters include Jeff Garlin (Jeff Greene), Cheryl Hines (Cheryl David), Susie Essman (Susie Greene), Bob Einstein (Marty Funkhouser) and Ted Danson (himself). Lauren Graham will also join the cast for its latest season.
It is currently unknown when Curb Your Enthusiasm’s ninth season will air or if it will be the final season.
