HBO announced Tuesday the return of Curb Your Enthusiasm for the show’s 9th season.

“We’re thrilled that Larry has decided to do a new season of Curb and can’t wait to see what he has planned,” said Casey Bloys, president of HBO programming.

The shows star and creator, Larry David, said: “In the immortal words of Julius Caesar, ‘I left, I did nothing, I returned.”

In the announcement on the channel’s official Medium account, there was no mention of a premiere date.

The Emmy and Golden Globe-winning comedy series currently has 80 episodes completed and is HBO’s longest-running scripted comedy or drama series.

The company’s official statement describes the show as “an over-the-top version of [David] in an unsparing but tongue-in-cheek depiction of his life.”
