Scott Weiland, Former Stone Temple Pilots Frontman, Found Dead At 48 – Report

Scott Weiland, the former frontman of the Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver, has died at 48, according to published reports.

“Our friend Scott Weiland has died,” Jane’s Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro, tweeted at 9:01 p.m. PST .

Weiland long suffered from drug abuse for years. He was found dead on the tour bus for his band Scott Weiland and The Wildabouts at 9pm, according to TMZ.
