Sarah Palin Hits Back At PETA After Controversial Photo Of Son Standing On Dog
Sarah Palin refused to apologize to PETA for posting a picture of her son Trig standing on one of the family’s dogs, and instead went on the attack against the organization and liberals at large.
Sarah Palin Attacks PETA, Liberals
“Dear PETA, Chill. At least Trig didn’t eat the dog,” Palin wrote on Facebook. “Aren’t you the same anti-beef screamers blogging hate from your comfy leather office chairs, wrapped in your fashionable leather belts above your kickin’ new leather pumps you bought because your celebrity idols grinned in a tabloid wearing the exact same Louboutins exiting sleek cowhide covered limo seats on their way to some liberal fundraiser shindig at some sushi bar that features poor dead smelly roe.”
The former vice presidential candidate went on to state, “Our pets, including Trig’s best buddy Jill Hadassah, are loved, spoiled and cared for more than some people care for their fellow man whose politics may not mesh with nonsensical liberally failed ways or don’t fit your flighty standards.”
PETA President Ingrid Newkirk, who first spoke out last week to condemn Palin’s post, had a response to Palin’s aggressive defense of the pictures and attack on her organization. “PETA simply believes that people shouldn’t step on dogs,” Newkirk said. “Palin’s Facebook response shows us that she knows PETA about as well as she knows geography.”
The controversy began on New Year’s Day when Palin took to Facebook to write, “May 2015 see every stumbling block turned into a stepping stone on the path forward. Trig just reminded me. He, determined to help wash dishes with an oblivious mama not acknowledging his signs for “up!”, found me and a lazy dog blocking his way. He made his stepping stone.” Along with the message, Palin included three pictures of her young son stepping on the dog.
