Sara Gilbert, The Talk co-host and Roseanne alum, and her wife Linda Perry are expecting their first child together.

Gilbert announced that she's pregnant during the episode of The Talk that aired on Tuesday. The co-host revealed the baby news when she was forced to decline a dare to face her biggest fear – having a cinderblock broken on her stomach. Obviously, completing the dare would be far from advisable while pregnant.

“Before we go I just want to say I'm actually not going to do the dare," said Gilbert.. "I was scared to do it and I really believe in facing your fears, but I actually can't do the dare because I'm pregnant."

Gilbert’s fellow hosts, who’d apparently been kept in the dark about her pregnancy, exclaimed in happiness for Gilbert and Perry, who wed back in March. Julie Chen, Sharon Osbourne and Sheryl Underwood have all taken to Twitter to share their congratulations for the expecting couple.

Gilbert and Perry, a music producer and former front woman for 4 Non Blondes, became engaged in April 2013 after two years of dating. They were married March 30. Gilbert has two children from her previous relationship with TV producer Alison Adler – Levi, 9, and Sawyer, 7.
