Sandra Bullock Earns Two Golden Globe Nominations

Sandra Bullock earned two surprise Golden Globes nominations in two Best Actress categories for her roles The Blind Side and The Proposal, it was announced on Tuesday. Meryl Streep also earned two nominations for Julie & Julia and It's Complicated. The film Up In the Air received six nomination including ones for best drama and best actor (George Clooney). The musical Nine earned five nominations, including best musical or comedy and nods for Daniel Day-Lewis, Penelope Cruz and Marion Cotillard. The Globes will be held on Jan. 17 and are considered a bellwether for the Oscars. – Krystal Segnini
