Sam Taylor-Johnson, 56, Shares Photos Of ‘Summer Romance’ With Husband Aaron Taylor-Johnson, 33

Director Sam Taylor-Johnson and her husband, actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson, had a little getaway recently as the days of summer are nearing an end.

Sam, 56, took to Instagram to share a series of photos of her and her husband Aaron, 33, on their end-of-summer vacation. One image has the couple standing on opposing sides of a palm tree. Two other shots gave much closer views of the pair, with a barefoot Sam standing next to a sitting, topless Aaron.

“Summer romance,” Sam captioned the post.

Sam and Aaron have been married since 2012, four years after their fateful meetup at a film audition for Nowhere Boy, which Sam was directing. Aaron landed the role of a young John Lennon, paving the way to the beginning of their romance, and proposed to Sam the following year.

Although they didn’t get married until three years into their engagement, they did welcome two kids before tying the knot. On July 8, 2010, they welcomed their daughter Wylda Rae, 13, and on January 18, 2012, they had their second daughter, Romy Hero, 12.

In June this year, they celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary, one week after Aaron’s 33rd birthday.

Many have questioned the 23-year age difference between the seemingly happy couple, but that hasn’t hindered their success in their relationship and respective careers.

Speaking about the constant interrogations about their age gap, Aaron told Vulture in 2017, “The attention was intrusive. But having to deal with that early in my career probably got me to a place where I can more quickly just go, ‘Oh, f— it.'”

In addition to their two daughters, Sam has two other daughters from her previous marriage with art dealer Jay Jopling; Angelica, 26, and Jessie, 17.
