Sam Hunt Sports Wedding Ring At ACM Awards, Weeks Before Wedding

Sam Hunt is so excited about his upcoming wedding to Hannah Lee Fowler that he is already wearing his wedding ring.

The 32-year-old country singer appeared in an all-black suit at the ACM Awards on Sunday, and sported a thick black QALO ring on his ring finger. “I put it on to try it on, and decided it felt too good and I didn’t want to take it off,” Hunt explained. “It’s only a few weeks left before we do get married.”

The singer did not, however, reveal when or where his wedding will take place, but only gushed about the event. “Intimate and hometown were the two adjectives that [best describe the wedding],” he shared. “Low key, low maintenance. We are both kind of introverted people for the most part, so we don’t like celebrating ourselves too much. If there ever is a time to do it, it is now, and it is more to celebrate the union of marriage than it is each other. I am excited about doing that.”

After dating since 2008, Hunt announced his engagement to Fowler in January, but Sunday’s ACM Award show was the first time the pair shared time on the red carpet. “It means a lot [that she’s here with me],” he said. “This change of lifestyle happened when the two of us weren’t dating and together, so I’ve been introducing her to my new life a little bit at a time over the last six months. This is a big leap compared to some of the small steps we have taken so far, so I hope she enjoys it, it’s a radical change for sure, but she is optimistic and I am proud that she is out here with me. She looks gorgeous and she’s feeling good, smiling, so that’s a good sign.”

The black wedding ring was visible for the first time in an Instagram post from three weeks ago, but the ACM Awards was the first public outing Hunt did with the jewelry.
