If there was any doubt award season is upon us, the Screen Actors Guild just squashed it. Less than a week after the announcement of Golden Globe nominations, we now have the SAG announcements.

Awkwafina and Laverne Cox announced the nominees on Wednesday. The two joked with each other, touching on height and the breakout roles each have had. Awkwafina also learned that Crazy Rich Asians was nominated for best cast and said, “It was all me.”

A Star is Born garnered the most film nominations with four, ranging from best actress to best ensemble. BlacKkKlansman and The Favourite followed with three nominations.

In the television section, Ozark and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel have four nominations. But the competition is close behind. Barry, GLOW, The Handmaid’s Tale and The Kominsky Method all received three nominations each.

While the SAG Awards may seem irrelevant, they act as a precursor to the Oscars. This is because actors make up the greatest portion of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences.

The  25th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards will air live on TNT and TBS at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on Jan. 27.
