It was reported earlier this week that Gosling and Mendes had quietly gotten hitched sometime this year. The notoriously private couple said their “I dos” with just a small group of their closest friends and family members in attendance, according to the Us Weekly report.

“Eva and Ryan have always felt like a married couple,” a source told the magazine. “They are infatuated with each other.”

Despite the convincing claims about the nuptials, other sources are saying that the two are not yet man and and wife. The wedding rumors are not true, according to People magazine.

Gosling and Mendes have been together since 2011, after they met on the set of The Place Beyond the Pines. The actors are parents to two daughters – Esmeralda, 2, and Amanda Lee, who the pair welcomed on April 29 of this year.

Gosling recently opened up a bit about his family life with Mendes and the two young girls while at the Toronto Film Festival earlier this month. “I’m a lucky man,” the La La Land actor said. “We couldn’t be happier. They are so sweet.”
