West Wing cast members are reuniting to endorse Hillary Clinton for president and are hitting the campaign trail for her in Ohio.
Ian Sams, a communications director for Clinton in the 2016 election’s battleground states, announced on Twitter Wednesday that a number of the actors from the erstwhile Emmy-winning political drama would be campaigning for Clinton in Ohio, where the race with Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is neck-in-neck.
“The gang is getting back together,” Sam tweeted with a picture of some of the cast members. “The cast of The West Wing will campaign for @HillaryClinton in stops across Ohio this weekend.”
Allison Janney (C.J. Cregg), Bradley Whitford (Josh Lyman), Richard Schiff (Toby Ziegler), Dulé Hill (Charlie Young), Joshua Malina (Will Bailey) and Mary McCormack (Kate Harper) will all be showing their support for the Democratic presidential nominee. Martin Sheen, who played the president on West Wing, won’t be in attendance, but he recently showed his support for Clinton in Joss Whedon‘s celebrity-packed video for the candidate.
Whedon’s video also includes celebrity cameos by Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johannson, Neil Patrick Harris, James Franco and Jesse Williams.
