Actress Roma Downey and producer Mark Burnett are relieved that their 20-year-old son Cameron is back home after his hospitalization.

Over the weekend, Downey posted on her Instagram without much detail that, “I need your prayers please for someone I love is ill tonight.”

She did not share that it was stepson who was hospitalized until the next day. She was overwhelmed with fans’ responses, saying, “You all responded so fast and Mark and I are so appreciative of your kindness and prayer support. Please keep those prayers coming today so we can get him safely home from hospital and restored to perfect health.”

 

Cameron was hospitalized due to serious complications from the brain tumor surgery he got four years ago, however has been released from the hospital. Following his release, the family released a statement for their fans. “Our family is so thankful for all the prayers over the last few days. We are relieved to have Cameron back home with us and we are so incredibly grateful for the amazing care he received at UCLA.”

On Monday, Downey shared one final post of gratitude on her Instagram. She wrote, “We are so grateful! We are joyfully saying prayers of thanksgiving.”
