Robert F. Kennedy Jr., also known as RFK Jr., is preparing himself for the 2024 presidential election.

The 69-year-old environmental lawyer took to social media to show off his strength and flaunt his toned physique, wearing denim Levis and gray sneakers. In the video, he is seen doing push-ups outdoors as the cameraman says, “That’s a fit boy.”

“Getting in shape for my debates with President Biden!” he began his post. “As President, I will restore America as the global example of health and well-being. Not through pills or syringes, but through character and self-discipline. And I will continue to walk the walk and lead by example.”

He then went on to explain that “Americans gained an average of 29 pounds during Covid lockdowns.”

RFK Jr., known for his extreme anti-vaccine positions, said he will help citizens get back in shape by encouraging them to “exercise, eat well and fortify their immune systems.”

Kennedy has been banned by many social media platforms for his anti-vax views.

He also wrote that fear must never be allowed to win because it weakens both the immune system and the capacity to think critically, which he believes “is the key to the survival of democracy.”

“We will restore our health as we reunite our communities and rebuild our nation,” Kennedy continued. “So start doing your morning calisthenics everybody. Get yourself in shape for a Kennedy Presidency!”

Before ending his post, RFK Jr. also made sure to note that “yes, [he] can do more than ten push-ups.”

By implication, Kennedy is contrasting himself to Biden who is 80 years old.

Last month, the presidential hopeful, whose father was Robert F. Kennedy and uncle was the late President John F. Kennedy, said that he’s ”aware” of assassination risks by the CIA and that he takes precautions.

The only other major candidate declared in the Democratic primary is spiritual author Marianne Williamson. Neither is considered to be a serious challenger to Biden.
