Rob Kardashian Opens Up To Lamar Odom About Weight Gain

Rob Kardashian had a heart-to-heart with his brother-in-law, Lamar Odom, about his struggle with his weight in Keeping Up with The Kardashians.

Hanging out by the pool at Khloe Kardashian and Lamar’s house, Rob reveals why he wasn’t joining the family in Greece. “I was not feeling myself, like, gaining a bunch of weight,” the Kardashian brother admitted. “It’s just frustrating to me. I’m not happy going out if I’m not in good shape. Do you know what I mean?”

As Lamar patiently continued to listen, playing with his dog Bernand, Rob declared, “Within the next 6 months, if I don’t get this together, I won’t want to hang around everybody,” adding, “So my mom doesn’t cry and think something bigger is going on when really it’s very simple. I let this go and I need to get it back together. That’s it.”

Lamar, however, was not so sure Rob’s struggles were that simple, saying, “It’s alright if it is something bigger.” Though Rob persisted that he was not depressed, Lamar went on to say, “Being depressed is not being wrong, cause that s—t happens. If you don’t take care of yourself you hurt your relationships no matter what.”

Lamar claimed to be speaking from some experience, knowing what it’s like to climb hard out of a hole. He gave his little stepbrother some advice about focusing on himself and not worrying about girlfriends or his family while he gets himself back on track.

Rob’s sisters, Khloe and Kim Kardashian have repeatedly tried to get Rob to adopt better eating habits by mocking him and playing pranks. “If we put him in a room and just give him burgers, fries and pizza,” Kim joked. “We get him so sick that he’s like I could never eat fast food again,” Khloe added. Needless to say, the exercise was anything but helpful.
