Riley Keough remembered her mother, Lisa Marie Presley, on her first Mother’s Day without her.

Keough posted an old photo with her mom and dad, Danny Keough, holding her as a baby.

“Lucky to have had the best and most deeply loving mama I could have asked for,” the Instagram caption reads.

Keough is the oldest of Presley’s four children. The three others are teenage twins Harper and Finley, and Benjamin, who died by suicide in 2020

Prior to Presley’s death, Keough and her mother had attended the Golden Globes to honor her grandfather, Elvis Presley, and his biopic directed by Baz LuhrmannElvis (2022).

Presley took to Instagram to post her thoughts on the movie.

“You can feel and witness Baz’s pure love, care, and respect for my father throughout this beautiful film, and it is finally something that myself and my children and their children can be proud of forever,” she wrote.

Presley died in her Calabasas, California home on January 12 at 54 after suffering from a cardiac attack. Keough’s grandmother, Priscilla Presley, announced her daughter’s death shortly after.

Presley was “The King of Rock and Roll’s” only child.

In her eulogy for her mother during the memorial service in January, Keough voiced her appreciation for her.

“I am eternally grateful to have spent 33 years with you. I’m certain I chose the best mother for me in this world and I knew that as far back as I can remember you,” Keough said.

Actor Sam Claflin commented on Keough’s post with a heart emoji. They star together in the show, Daisy Jones and the Six (2023), a drama based on Taylor Jenkins Reid‘s book of the same name.
