Rihanna attended the annual British Fashion Awards on Monday, Dec. 1 in London, decked out in a menswear inspired ensemble.

Rihanna hit the red carpet at London’s Coliseum in an oversized black velvet tuxedo jacket by Stella McCartney – with nothing underneath. She completed the look with a pair of black tights, and ankle strap sandals. For jewelry, the Barbadian singer wore a diamond choker.

In the makeup department, Rihanna had a neutral color palette for her face and a smokey eye. Her pop of color came in the form of neon green nail polish.

While Rihanna was on-trend with the tuxedo jacket sans bra, fashion expert Simon Glazin wasn’t a big fan. “At first glance, I loved Rihanna’s Stella McCartney get up, but the more I look the more I hate it,” Glazin wrote. “I cannot abide tights, especially dark tights, with sandals.”

Other stars that turned out at the British Fashion Awards included the ever-stylish Victoria and David Beckham, Kate Moss, Anna Kendrick, Harry Styles, Cara Delevingne, Kendall Jenner and Emma Watson, who, like Rihanna, sported a tuxedo jacket to the fete.
