Rihanna Drops Single ‘Work’ Off New Album ‘Anti’ That Features Drake
Rihanna has dropped the leading single off her new album Anti – “Work.” And it features Drake.
Rihanna’s ‘Work’
Rihanna announced that “Work” had dropped on Twitter, writing, “FIRST SINGLE #WORK ft. @Drake from #ANTI is here!! Listen up.”
She also provided a link to streaming service Tidal for fans to listen to the song for the first time.
Rihanna followed up the announcement tweet by teasing the track with a lyric.
“Work,” which was produced by Boi-1da, features a solid verse from Drake:
“You need to get done, done, done, done/ That’ll work, come over/ We just need to slow the motion/ Don’t give that away to no one/ Long distance, I need you/ When I see potential I just gotta see it through/ If you had a twin I would still choose you/ I don’t wanna rush into it, if it’s too soon.”
On Wednesday morning, “Work” debuted on radio stations across the globe – including BBC Radio 1 and Z100 New York.
With the official release of her forthcoming album’s first single, Rihanna is expected to release Anti in the very near future. She teased the highly anticipated album on Twitter earlier this week, writing, “listening to ANTI ?.”
