Rihanna Beats Michael Jackson’s Chart Record For #1 Songs

Rihanna has topped the King of Pop. With Rihanna‘s latest single “Work,” she has beaten Michael Jackson‘s record for third-most US number one hits of all time. The R&B star is 28 year old and “Work” is her 14th track to top Billboard 100. Rihanna took to Twitter to express her excitement:

The first and second place stand with The Beatles with 20 chart-toppers and Mariah Carey with 18 number ones respectively.

Rihanna will perform tonight at the BRIT Awards despite canceling a number of dates in her ANTI World Tour and her performance at the Grammys because of bronchitis.

“Work” features Drake and is his second No.1 hit. His first? His 2010 collaboration with Rihanna “What’s My Name?”
