Reports Say Katie Holmes & Jamie Foxx Broke Up & Called Off Wedding, Holmes’ Rep Denies It

Katie Holmes ended things with Jamie Foxx after dating for five years due to reported “trust issues.” They were close to following through with a $300,000 wedding and honeymoon, but Holmes ended it over trust issues.

Though neither star has confirmed the rumors, a source told Radar Online that “Katie just couldn’t get over her trust issues.” The source added, “No screaming fits or anger — just sadness when Katie called up Jamie to tell him she couldn’t do this anymore. He heard her out and said he was sorry.”

The two were first reported to be dating in 2013, but didn’t go public until 2017 when they were spotted hand-in-hand walking on a Malibu beach. Some reports have suggested that Holmes and Foxx had to keep their relationship a secret for so long because of her divorce settlement with Tom Cruise, which didn’t allow her to date publicly for five years.

Breakup rumors first stirred when Holmes was spotted with her ex-boyfriend Joshua Jackson earlier this year. However, the wedding cancellation seems to be the last nail in the coffin.

Yet, Holmes’ publicist, Leslie Sloan, told People, “The Radar story is 100 percent untrue.”

The two never denied or confirmed their relationship. Now that things are becoming wishy-washy, the world will have to wait for the final outcome between the two.
