Renee Zellweger Vacations With Boyfriend Doyle Bramhall

Renee Zellweger and new boyfriend Doyle Bramhall II were spotted paddleboating and embracing on the beaches of Hawaii.

Zellweger, 43, began dating Bramall, 44, in December of last year. The two, who appear to still be in the honeymoon phase of their relationship, were caught by the cameras smiling and being affectionate with one another in matching beachwear.

While the pair are newly a couple, they’ve known each other since their college days. Both Zellweger and Bramall went to college at the University of Texas before embarking on their careers in showbiz. While Zellweger has made a name for herself on the big screen in smash hits Bridget Jones's Diary and Chicago, Bramhall is a guitarist who tours with the likes of Eric Clapton.

Many were speculating after Zellweger’s appearance at the Oscars on Sunday that the actress was either drinking or suffering from too much Botox — or both. As she presented Best Original Song and Original Score, with other former members of the cast of Chicago, she appeared unsteady and seemed to have trouble reading the winners’ names. Roger Friedman, who interviewed Zellweger as she left the show walking happily hand-in-hand with Bramhall, denies these claims.

“If Renee was drunk she should get an Oscar for playing sober. It never crossed my mind that she was anything but happy," he wrote on ShowBiz411. "Her face also looked completely normal. And believe me, I’ve seen some distorted faces in this town.”

Zellweger currently has two films in pre-production, including Bridget Jones’s Baby (the third in the franchise), and 4 Minutes alongside Ed Harris and Johnny Knoxville. Bramhall will soon be touring with Clapton’s band for concerts in the U.S. and Europe.
