The American Heart Association got involved with New York Fashion Week again by throwing their own Go Red For Women show, presented by Macy’s.

GO RED FOR WOMEN RETURNS TO NEW YORK FASHION WEEK

Various celebrities and models attended the special show on Feb. 8 at the Hammerstein Ballroom, and featured three looks from designers in the non-profit and independently-run fashion programs at Macy’s. The so-called Red Dress Collection was designed by Tanesha Prunty, Lia Larrea and Dur Doux, while Tatyana AliGinger Zee and Elisabeth Röhm wore the looks, respectively. Others walking in the show were Macy’s employee Karen A. Hill, who lives with cardiomyopathy, and Lilly Rocha, who survived a heart attack at 37.

Actress Marisa Tomei hosted the event, and many of her fellow female celebrities attended in red as well. Among them were Kate WalshCeCe WinansMelissa Joan HartAdrienne HoughtonMarion Ross and Rachel Lindsay.

Lindsay, the latest Bachelorette, and her chosen beau Bryan Abasolo were featured at the event. She donned a revealing red dress by Pamella Roland. “Excited and honored to be walking in this year’s @american_heart Go Red for Women Red Dress Collection Fashion Show and to use my platform to educate women about the #1 disease killing women today. ❤️ // Also, @thebryanabasolo is 🔥🔥 as per usual. #goredforwomen #nyc #ama #nyfw,” she wrote on Instagram, not forgetting to compliment Abasolo as well.

Abasolo commented on the event as well on his own social media pages. “Such a great event for a great cause! My lady in red did her thing!” he said.

Walsh also posted a photo of her own red dress at the show on Instagram. “I am OBSESSED w this dress. 💃🏻 So much fun working w/ @rubinsinger to create it!” she wrote.
