Putin Illness Rumors Grow After Experts Say Mark On Hand Looks An IV Track Mark In New Photos

Rumors that Russian President Vladimir Putin has developed a life-threatening illness of some kind have run rampant in recent months.

After a recent parade in Moscow to celebrate Russia’s illegal annexation of Ukraine territory, various sources claimed that Putin was visibly in pain.

In a recent propaganda video, the Russian strongman is grasping at a soldier for support. Putin’s hand looks to have some sort of discoloration that some have alleged looks like IV track marks.

Others say that the discoloration could just be “bulgy veins.”

Russian political scientist Valery Solovey told a Russian radio network that the leader’s health is “deteriorating.”

Solovey claimed that Putin’s judgment has fallen victim to this secret illness.

“All of the decisions made by him… on February 24 [the start Russian Invasion of Ukraine] and September 21 [the start of mobilization] are a direct consequence of his physiological status.”

On a Telegram channel, a source going by General SVR made an unsubstantiated claim that “the deplorable state of the president’s physical and mental health affects the adoption of key decisions.”

The same channel claims that Putin has some sort of cancer or Parkinson’s as well as a schizoaffective disorder.

Solovey also claims that the United States is aware of what is happening to Putin and has criticized the CIA for calling the Russian leader “too healthy.”

Solovey alleges that due to poor health, Putin is not bluffing with his threats against the west. “Putin doesn’t want to change history, he wants to end it,” he wrote.

The claims are largely unproven though voices like Richard Dearlove, a former MI6 chief, have tried to add some legitimacy, alleging that “Putin will be gone by 2023,” sent off to a sanitarium to receive medical treatment.

Earlier in the year, intelligence officials for both Russia and NATO dismissed the claims of Putin’s ill health.

As Ukraine has gained momentum in the war, Putin has fired his top generals and implemented an unpopular military draft.
