Prince Harry and finacée Meghan Markle visit Edinburgh on their first official trip to Scotland.

PRINCE HARRY & MEGHAN MARKLY VISIT EDINBURGH

It is their fourth joint trip since becoming engaged in November, and follows visits to Nottingham, Brixton in south London and Cardiff in Wales. Their first stop was to Edinburgh castle, where the couple was met by hordes of fans. They shook many hands along the way, and most gave their well-wishes for a happy wedding.

Harry and Markle are set to wed in St. George’s Chapel on May 19 at 12 pm.

In Scotland, Markle wore a Burberry coat and Veronica Beard pants, and smartly donned a purse made by Edinburgh firm Strathberry. Following the visit to the castle, Harry and Markle visited the social enterprise cafe, Social Bite, which distributes thousands of food and beverage items to the homeless in Scotland each year. They also make a point to hire employees who have personal experiences with homelessness.

The royal couple spent time speaking with the cafe’s co-founders Josh Littlejohn and Alice Thompson. Next, the couple made their way to the Palace of Holyroodhouse to meet with Scotland’s First Minister Nicola Sturgeon. There, they attended a reception to celebrate Scotland’s Year of Young People 2018.
