Poll Ranks Hottest Male Athletes

With the 19th annual World Cup in full swing, millions are watching to support their country, while others are watching simply to watch men run around and get dirty. Our friends at Lemondrop.com are obviously the latter, as they recently published their own World Cup of Men, a reader poll to find out which sports have the Hottest Athletes on Earth.

In a shocking turn of events, soccer players scored the number 2 spot with 44% of the vote, losing to… figure skaters? Perhaps they’re still getting fodder from the Winter Games, or most likely, figure skating poster-child Evan Lysacek is still a fan favorite after his stint on Dancing with the Stars. Notoriously rowdy hockey players took the three spot, while the smooth operators — swimmers — dove in at number four. Tennis players rounded out the bottom at number five, while rugby hooligans won number six as a write in. –ELENA COX
