The man who hacked Pippa Middleton‘s iCloud account and boasted of having thousands of pictures has been arrested.
A 35-year-old man was arrested in the county of Northamptonshire, England, in connection to the hack into Middleton’s iCloud, reported CNN. He has since been released on bail, but is required to report to a South London police station towards the end of November, pending further inquiries into the hack.
“A man arrested by detectives investigating the hacking of a personal iCloud account has been bailed,” police said in a statement.
The hacker had reportedly reached out to the U.K.’s Sun newspaper over WhatsUp in an effort to sell some 3,000 photos he’d stolen from Middleton’s hacked account. The hacker was apparently hoping to sell the images for a minimum of $65,000.
Middleton is the younger sister of Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge. Among the stolen images were reportedly snaps of her nephew Prince George and niece Princess Charlotte. Other pictures purportedly showed Middleton trying on wedding dresses for her forthcoming wedding to fiancé James Matthews.
