Pink has been chosen to sing the National Anthem at Super Bowl LII on February 4.

PINK TO SING NATIONAL ANTHEM AT SUPER BOWL LII

NBC announced the performance today, and it will be part of the pregame festivities at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. It will be televised prior to kickoff. Actor and director Alexandria Wailes will perform the song in American Sign Language on behalf of the National Association of the Deaf, as well as “American the Beautiful.”

Pink joins past performers in singing “The Star Spangled Banner” at the highly-anticipated sporting event, such as Lady GagaIdina MenzelLuke BryanNatalie ColeBilly Joel, and Diana Ross, among many others.

Pink released her seventh studio album, Beautiful Trauma, in October – her first in five years. Its hit single “What About Us” received a Grammy nod for Best Pop Solo Performance, the winner of which will be honored on Jan. 28 at the awards show. Pink is also set to jet off on her “Beautiful Trauma World Tour” on March 1.

Justin Timberlake was named the Super Bowl LII Halftime Show performer last month. The accompanying acts have not yet been announced.
