In a text exchange being shared online, comedian Pete Davidson reportedly told rapper Kanye West to “calm down” and “grow the f––k up” in response to West’s recent erratic online behavior towards him and ex-wife Kim Kardashian.

“Yo it’s Skete. Can you please take a second and calm down,” Davidson began his message, referring to a derogatory nickname West has been calling him by. He added a statement of support to Kardashian in the first message, saying, “you are so f––king lucky that she’s your kids mom.” Davidson also said he’s “not gonna let you treat us this way anymore and I’m done being quiet.”

West responded minimally through the exchange but still with a tense tone. Davidson remained aggressive after West responded with, “Oh you using profanity. Where are you right now?” Davidson wrote, “In bed with your wife,” along with a selfie photo from bed. He asked to meet in L.A. and taunted West again by saying, “if you wanna stop being a little internet b––ch boy and talk.”

West told Davidson that he’d have to go to West’s Sunday Service concert to see him, and the comedian took issue with meeting in a public setting. “I’m not here for pictures and press. Which is obviously all you care about.” Davidson then wrote several more texts imploring the rapper to seek mental health help, saying “it’s not an easy journey,” and “you’ll be so happy and at peace.”

“I’ve stopped SNL from talking about or making fun of you which they’ve wanted to do for months,” Davidson claimed. “I’ve stopped stand-up comedians from doing bits about you because I don’t want the father of my girls’ kids to look bad out there.” Davidson wrapped up the posted exchange saying he would “stop being nice,” if West’s behavior continues unchanged.

While particulars of the divorce are being worked out, Kardashian was declared legally single at the start of this month. She filed for divorce from West just over a year ago after seven years of marriage to the rapper. Kardashian began dating Davidson in November of last year.
