Peacock’s ‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spinoff Series To Star Lisa Rinna

A limited-spinoff series of NBC’s Days of Our Lives is coming to Peacock. The spinoff will feature the soap opera’s former star, Lisa Rinna, who will reprise her role as Billie Reed. Rinna is best known these days as one of the stars of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

The limited series is titled Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem and will feature current and former stars from the series. The series will show Billie Reed, an ISA agent, looking for stolen jewels.

Deidre Hall, Jackée Harry, James Reynolds, Victoria Konefal, Sal Stowers, Drake Hogestyn, Robert Scott Wilson, Billy Flynn and Lamon Archey will also star in the Peacock series.

The limited series will take place over a long weekend. John (Hogestyn) and Marlena (Hall) travel to Zurich, Ben (Wilson) and Ciara (Konefal) to New Orleans, Chad (Flynn) visits his friends in Phoenix and Abe (Reynolds), Paulina (Harry), Lani (Stowers) and Eli (Archey) travel to Miami.

Each character takes part in the stolen-jewels plot. The jewels could cause trouble for Salem – which is where the series takes place – if they are given to the wrong person.

Corday Productions is producing in association with Sony Pictures Television. The head writer is Ron Carlivati, Ken Corday is the executive producer and Albert Alarr is the co-executive producer.
