Olivia Newton-John ‘In Shock’ After Contractor Commits Suicide In Her Florida Home
Contractor Christopher Pariseleti died at Olivia Newton-John’s home in Florida with husband John Easterling from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Neither Newton-John nor Easterling were at the Palm Beach County property when Pariseleti committed suicide there, according to a Tequesta Fire and Rescue spokesperson. The couple is "in shock over the tragic event that occurred at their Florida home yesterday,” Newton-John’s publicist Michael Caprio said.
"At this time we are awaiting additional information from investigators but, can confirm that the couple was not in Florida at the time and, the deceased was not a family member," Caprio added.
After the 41-year-old Pariseleti’s body was found in the house, an autopsy was conducted on Tuesday that determined the official cause of death. "This case investigation has been classified as a suicide and there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of Mr. Pariseleti," read a statement from the Jupiter Police Department.
The 4-bedroom house is owned by Easterling and is currently on the market. Actress and talk show host Rosie O’Donnell has reportedly been interested in purchasing the property.
