“Octomom” Nadya Suleman‘s octuplets blazed into their 14th birthday with a go-kart celebration.

In her celebratory Instagram post, Noah, Maliyah, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Nariyah, Josiah, Jonah and Makai can be seen sitting together on a couch, enjoying unconventionally shaped donuts. Behind them are gold-colored balloons that spell “Happy Birthday.”

“You are some of the most loving, thoughtful, conscientious and humble human beings I have ever known,” their mother wrote. “The struggles we’ve endured over the years have strengthened our connections to one another. By facing new challenges in the years to come, I hope we will continue to grow as a family.”

Based on another set of photos taken that day, featured on People, it looks as though all eight children, each sporting their unique fashion styles, are nearing the height of their mother. They are currently in the eighth grade, with Suleman describing them as altruistic followers of God.

Suleman, whose full name is Natalie Denise Doud-Suleman, made headlines in 2009 as the first person then on record to give birth to surviving octuplets. She has six other children, including a set of fraternal twins.
