Obama's Birth Certificate Burns Up Celeb Twitter-verse

When President Obama released his long-form birth certificate to the public, he hoped to put the issue to rest forever. Perversely, it just got birther Donald Trump and others more sympathetic in Hollywood talking more about the issue. "I am so proud of myself," the Celebrity Apprentice star said at a press conference. "I got this guy to release his birth certificate. I'm really, really happy."

Sarah Palin took to her Twitter account with the usual abandon. "Now, don't let the WH distract you w/the birth crt from what Bernanke says today. Stay focused, eh?" Palin tweeted.

Twitter-verse was burning up with the news. There is even a Barack Obama Long Form Birth Certificate Twitter account (@ObamaLongFormBC). Family Guy creator Seth McFarlane characteristically brought humor to the subject. “Now that we've seen his birth certificate, I want to see proof that President Obama is black,” he tweeted. Another top tweet comes from George Stephanopoulos. “Since President Obama released his birth certificate, will Donald Trump release his tax returns?” the ABC News Correspondent tweeted.
