Sister Christina Scuccia, a 25-year-old nun, competed on The Voice Italy, wowing the crowd and the judges with her rendition of Alicia’s Keys’ “No One.”

Nun Sings Alicia Keys On 'The Voice Italy'

Scuccia passionately sang the lyrics to Keys’ hit, inspiring each of the four judges to turn their chair. As the judges turned to face Scuccia, a look of complete surprise crossed their faces. Coach Raffaelaa Carrà found her performance so unbelievable that he asked her if she was truly a nun.

“Yes. I am truly, truly a sister,” she said. “I came here because I have a gift, and I want to share that gift. I am here to evangelize.”

After the four coaches fought for Scuccia to join his or her team, she ended up selecting Italian rapper J-Ax. “I told myself that if they turned around, I would choose the first one," Scuccia explained.

J-Ax, though slightly surprised to be the coach selected, was more than happy to have the sister on his team. "If I had found you at Mass I would always be in church,” he joked. “You and me are like the devil and holy water."
