Kim Kardashian‘s eldest child, North West, celebrated her 11th birthday with a lavish trip to New York City with ten friends, sponsored by her mother. The tween’s early birthday included a private plane ride on her mom’s private jet, known as “Kim Air” on her reality series, and dinner on Friday.

Kardashian and West headed to Serendipity3 for chicken tenders, ice cream sundaes and frozen hot chocolate. West and the girls wore matching plaid pajamas and shirts that said, “I [heart] NW,” resembling the famous “I [heart] New York” tourist shirts. West later blew out her birthday candles at the restaurant while her friends sang “Happy Birthday.”

Some fans were quick to call the party excessive. “Happy birthday spoiled brat,” one wrote.

West’s birthday isn’t the first lavish bash Kardashian has thrown for her kids. For West’s 9th birthday, Kardashian also took her daughter and friends on her private plane for a horror/camping-themed party. Balloons arched over the planes entranced spelled out, “Camp North,” while the inside was decorated with fake cobwebs and wood-patterned pillows. For West’s 10th birthday the following year, the girls stayed at the Beverly Hills Hotel for a massive sleepover and beauty day.

In May, Kardashian’s youngest child Psalm celebrated his 5th birthday with a toy Tesla Cybertruck gifted by his grandmother Kris Jenner. The miniature version of the Cybertruck was listed for $1,200 on the official Tesla website. Jenner faced backlash for the pricey gift, with fans calling it “inappropriate” and “wasteful.”

In February 2023, fans criticized Kardashian for gifting North a $70,000 playhouse called “Lil Hidden Hills.”
