An email address of North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson (R) was reportedly registered on the website Ashley Madison, which is for married men who seek to cheat on their spouses.

Robinson is the GOP nominee for governor against Attorney General Josh Stein (D) in November.

On Thursday, CNN reported that the North Carolina lieutenant governor made various offensive comments on the message board of the pornography website Nude Africa between 2008 and 2012.

The comments were made under the username “minisoldr,” a nickname Robinson repeatedly used online. He listed his full name on his profile for Nude Africa and an email address he had used on many websites for decades.

In the message board, he called himself a “black NAZI!” and conveyed support for reinstating slavery, a CNN investigation found.

Even though he has a recent history of anti-transgender rhetoric, Robinson said he liked watching trans pornography, a review of archived messages discovered in which he also called himself a “perv.”

Robinson will face off against Stein this November in what promises to be a closely contested race.

Both candidates are competing to succeed the current Gov. Roy Cooper (D).
